It is God who loved us first before we knew Him even when we were still walking in darkness. Not only did the Lord Jesus die for you and me on the cross. The Lord Jesus Christ also prayed for you to overcome the world so that one day you will be counted worth to receive a prize from the most High God our father in heaven. Lord Jesus prayed, “I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours.”John 17:9……. My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message…John 17:20

We all know that His all his prayers were always answered. Everything that was making it impossible for you to inherit the kingdom of God was then erased. We are therefore left with greater responsibility of choosing our future.

“See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil, Deut 30:15

Jesus Christ came to redeem us from the power of sin and destruction as well as being an example of how to overcome world. He also continues to pray for us; For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant” Hebrews 9:15.

When the Lord Jesus was on earth He overcame the world through perseverance and prayer, which will all need in our lives. Prayer is a need in everyone’s life regardless of your background or circumstance.
